27.02.08 Embassy secures 24 Hours of Le Mans entry

A major achievement in itself, the team has been accepted for the world’s premier endurance race at the first time of asking and is now looking forward to getting the season underway in preparation for the trip to north west France.

The 76th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of June which will mean that the team has three rounds of the 2008 Le Mans Series to get to know the car and ensure everything is in place to put up a good show at the spectacular event.

At present, only Warren Hughes has been confirmed as a definite for the race, and it looks like the decision on who is to join him might depend on individual performances in the three rounds prior to the race. One thing is for sure, a seat in an Embassy Racing prototype at the 2008 24 Hours of Le Mans at stake should help motivate all our drivers in the early part of this season.
