Spotted at the earlier Monza round of the Le Mans Series - could this be Embassy Team Manager Jody Firth’s backup plan if things don’t go quite so well with the racing.

When asked about the eponymous ice cream parlour and his liveried Smart Car, Jody refused to comment, saying only that his passion for a Banana Split was greatly exaggerated.

So is that an ice cream in his hand - or is he just pleased to see us?
