Embassy driver Neil Cunningham thrilled thousands of race fans with two magnificent performances at the Silverstone Classic race weekend recently.

Driving a Jaguar D Type, Neil won the Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy for pre '56 sportsracing cars, and set the fastest lap during The Jack Sears Trophy for Historic Saloon Cars.
Sharing driving duties with car owner, Benjamin Eastick, Neil was in brilliant form around the 3-mile Silverstone Historic Grand Prix Circuit.
After the event, Neil and Ben were presented with their victory laurels by Tony Rolt, the Jaguar Le Mans winner from 1953.
Driving a 1965 Mustang in the Jack Sears Trophy, Neil was change over driver once again and after being handed a car in 19th place by co-driver Bob Pepper, Neil put in a charge to record fastest lap. He was all set to bring the Mustang home in an outstanding victory when he was collected by a spinning back marker.
He said afterwards, "I was so sorry that the Mustang drive ended early. I was having great fun and loving every minute."
He added, "The Jaguar D Type victory is without doubt, one of my finest racing moments. To score my first victory in historic racing is one thing, but to do it in such a famous car is so magical. I can't thank Ben Eastick enough for allowing me to drive his car. I hope we may be able to race again together in other events."
Cunningham now aims to secure a grid slot at the legendary Goodwood Revival in September.
He said, "I am working hard to obtain a drive at Goodwood. That would be great and we are looking at a couple of options that may allow me to race at the event - it is certainly one racing I really want to take part in."
