08.11.07 Qualifying keeps us on track
Embassy will start the Mil Milhas from second place in class on Saturday and even though the LMP 2 field is somewhat depleted, a good finish here will indicate just how far the team has come in its first Le Mans season. Warren qualified the Embassy Racing Radical second in class and sixth overall for the final round of this year’s Le Mans Series, the Mil Milhas which will take place on Saturday. He lapped the world famous Carlos Pace Circuit at Interlagos, just outside Soa Paulo in 1:24.6. His time was only a second off the leading Barazi Epsilon Zytek car and with the ability to maintain qualifying pace in the race, the team is optimistic about ending its first season in the Le Mans Series with a good result. (For good result read podium, class win, overall podium overall win).
