Since returning from the Nurburgring the team has moved into a new workshop that will be the team’s new headquarters in Ossett, West Yorkshire. The workshops are purpose designed for the building, preparation and maintenance of racing cars and with no major technical issues occurring at the Nurburgring it has all been performance work in the workshop since the team’s return.

Team Manager Jody Firth spoke of the work that has been done and has still to be done to get the most out of the WF01’s

Jody Firth

“From a personal point of view I wish we could start the season again, as if we knew then what we know about these cars now things would be very different. We have learnt so much about the WF01 since that first test back in March.

I am confident of a good showing at Silverstone and hope to give the Embassy Racing fans and guests something to smile about at Silverstone with some great racing and if we can give them a podium finish then even better. We are looking to finish the season on a high and then go through a thorough winter testing programme that will see a vastly improved showing from Embassy in 2009.“

With Silverstone being the team’s home round in the Le Mans Series, Team Principal Jonathan France has big things planned both on and off the track.

Embassy will have over 250 guests at Silverstone on Sunday who will all have exclusive access to the team’s two hospitality suites where no expense has been spared in making them feel welcome. The majority of guests will be from CLAPA, an organisation near and dear to Jonathan’s heart, while the remaining guests will be made up of sponsors, friends and family of the team who have supported Embassy in some form or another this year.

Team Principal Jonathan France

“It was a massive success last year and I think it will be just as good, if not better this weekend. I’m hopeful that a few famous faces from the world of television will be there to show their support too.

I would like to wish everyone a great weekend and I look forward to seeing all of you at Silverstone on Sunday”

A great weekend lies ahead.
