06.03.08 Embassy sets UK testing dates

Embassy is pleased to announce we have finalised a UK testing schedule for our six Triumph Daytona 675’s which are now nearing build completion.

UK Testing Moto

The team had originally planned to do some testing on the continent but a decision to build the four Supersport and two Superstock machines to a higher specification meant that the opportunity to take them to Europe was missed and testing had to be confined to the UK.

Moto Team Manager Myles Schofield remains positive about the season's preparations and rightly so.

“Unfortunately everything happened quite late for us in terms of the deal negotiated with Triumph so we have been up against time since getting the bikes. However, I am extremely happy with how quickly things have moved since then and although it is a shame we can’t do some testing in Europe, I feel that the UK testing we have arranged will prepare us sufficiently for the start of the season and I remain confident of building on the success of last year”.

The first test date will be at Croft on March 14th, followed by the official test at Snetterton which will run over three days from March 22nd. The team will finalise its preparation for the start of the season with another day of testing at Oulton Park on March 26th. We are also delighted that all three Embassy riders, Glen Richards, Paul Young and AJ Venter will all be testing at each of the dates and be supported by our full team of mechanics and technicians.
