2008 Mapped out for Embassy

Embassy Moto is delighted to announce that the new title sponsor for our 2008 Supersport and Superstock campaign in BSB will be Map Electrics.

Map Electrics

A national data and electrical contractor, Map was involved as a personal sponsor of one of Embassy’s riders last year, but the firm has recognised the opportunity for increased exposure through the British Superbike events and acted promptly to take advantage of the rising profile of the Embassy team. The deal will see the Moto team compete in the Supersport and Superstock classes as Map Embassy Racing.

Map MD Mike Carlin gave his views on the deal with Embassy.

“We are delighted to be working with Embassy and are excited about the tie-up. We were very impressed with the professional set-up at Embassy last year and had no hesitations when the chance to become their title sponsor came along. It is a fantastic opportunity for us as the interest in the British Superbike competitions seems to get bigger every year. We hope to be part of a very successful season for them”.

Moto Manager Myles Schofield expressed his delight with the backing of Map.

“I’m thrilled to have another Embassy supporter for the 2008 season. We hope to get the Map Embassy name out there as much as possible and the best way we can do that is to get the results on the track.”
