Glen Richards and Paul Young put a poor first qualifying session behind them this morning, qualifying in 4th and 9th place respectively in the afternoon’s second session.
The first session officially classed wet and both Glen and Paul seemed to be struggling with the conditions and were naturally disappointed to qualify in 9th and 18th, positions that weren’t up to the usual standards we have come to expect from them this year. However, in the second session they put that behind them with Glen setting the fourth fastest time, which means he will start on the front row in tomorrow’s crucial round in the championship race. Paul also improved on his times and will start on the third row, 9th on the grid.
